SUMMIT- YOUTH GROUP
Purpose, When & Where
Our youth GROUP meets to STUDY the Word of God, to CONNECT with other Christians, to GROW in our faith, and to have FUN discovering God's plan and purpose for our lives.
We meet every Friday evening 6-8pm @ OCF. A monthly fun outing is also planned. Transportation always available.

Questions we want our Youth to Ponder
REACH: Who am I trying to reach for Christ?
CONNECT: Who am I hanging out with?
GROW: What am I doing to show my faith?
DISCOVER: How I can use my gifts and talents?
HONOR: How does my life honor Christ?
Our Structure
Two groups will exist within the Youth Ministry.
1. Junior high - Sixth, seventh and eighth graders are in this group
2. Senior High - Nineth through twelfth graders will be included in this group along, with 18-20 year olds.

Our Goals
*Our goal is to see young people come together where they can find love and acceptance.
*To provide a safe, secure, fun environment.
*For each youth to know that God is real and that a personal relationship with Him gives meaning to life.
*To aide each young person In accepting Jesus Christ and building up their relationship with Him.
*To help each young person understand that the bible is relevant and has answers to their needs.
*To help the youth understand that growing in God's word results in positive changes in attitudes, actions and life-style.
*To encourage young people to be positive role models and not to simply "follow" the crowd.
